Location: After landing in the town of Lihue, you will begin a scenic drive north (approx. 30 miles) along the coast going through the town of Kapaa passing numerous beaches and tropical vegetation. After you reach the extreme north side of the island, you'll see the well known Princeville Golf and Tennis Resort. Within two miles, you will drop into the Hanalei Valley, the largest taro growing area in the State of Hawaii. Crossing the Hanalei River, you will arrive at your vacation destination, The Hanalei Dolphin Center, the first building on your right in Hanalei.

As a suggested day trip travel up the coast. Along this scenic by-way you'll pass Tunnels beach and drive to the end of the road where you can hike and snorkel to the world famous Napali Coast.

The Hanalei Dolphin - your first and last stop in Hanalei!

	Looking for a great place to eat? Try Hanalei Dolphin Restaurant on the North Shore of Kaua'i Beautiful Riverside Outdoor Dining in a lush, tropical setting. Full Service Bar Make sure to check out the Dolphin Center's unique shops and art galleries. Our Fish Market is open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily. The Hanalei Dolphin Restaurant is open every day, from 11:30 am - 10:00 pm. Lunch is served on our lanai or by the river's edge, from 11:30 am - 3:00 pm. Dinner is served from 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm. Appetizers and cocktails are served all day, from 11:30 am - 9:00 pm.
